ELECTRONIC VEHICLE

CHAPTER 1: Electronic Vehicle

What about Electronic Vehicle? How does it work?

Electronic vehicle
– uses one or more electric motors or traction motors for propulsion. An electric vehicle may be powered through a collector system by electricity from off-vehicle sources, or may be self-contained with a batterysolar panels or an electric generator to convert fuel to electricity. – via. Wikipedia.org

How does it work?

= It uses electricity stored in a battery pack to power an electric motor and turn the wheels. When depleted, the batteries are recharged using grid electricity, either from a wall socket or a dedicated charging unit.

Electronic vehicle has become popular in the Philippines when “E-Bike” comes. I always see a lot of E-Bike being used in the roads. It became popular when a lot of companies are offering here a so many kind of e-bikes. But what makes it easy to use?

it’s just like an automatic trasmission motor of what we called Scooter. the difference is it uses energy not a fuel. e-bike here in the ph has gone too far. every cities in Manila i think have a E-Bike owners

CHAPTER 2: Electric Cars

What is the technology used in an Electric Cars?

– One of the three engine used in an EV is BLDC or Brushless DC Electric motor. It is also known as Electronically commutated motors. Are synchronous motors powered by DC electricity via an inverter or switching power supply which produces an AC electric current to drive each phase of the motor via a closed loop controller. The controller provides pulses of current to the motor windings that control the speed and torque of the motor.

Company that is upgrading and enhancing E-Cars:
There’s a company that is innovating and offering a Electric Cars named Tesla. Tesla is offering cars such as: Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Roadster.

The Roadster can Run from 0 – 60mph in 1.9 seconds, Imagine how fast that is?
The Topspeed is +250mph, faster that most production car out there. i cant believe that tesla has created an E-Car this kind of fast.

The rest model has a best feautures too, fast and affordable. the roadster is the one that is not available right now. The price range runs in 47,000$ – 85,000$ equivalent to php 3,000,000 – php 5,000,000.  quite expensive here right?

Tesla has now created and enhanced the Auto Pilot feauture
–  looks amazing right? but how they made it possible?
They involve a hardware that is used to perform a self dribing mode. The hardware that makes up Tesla’s self-driving system includes a forward radar, a forward-looking camera, a high-precision digitally-controlled electric assist braking system, and 12 long-range ultrasonic sensors placed around the car. The senors enable the vehicle to sense when something is too close and gauge the appropriate distance so that it can do things like safely change lanes.

CHAPTER 3: HOW FAR PEOPLE AND PLACES HERE IN THE WORLD KNOW ABOUT E-VEHICLES?

I conducted some interview on people who are a Car owners and people who is familiar about type of cars. Some people doesn’t have an idea about Electronic Vehicle especially electric cars. but some of them know about it.  others stated that it is a car that is not using a petrol or fuel instead it uses a Energy and battery to run. I cant say that people here doesn’t know about EV but instead, i can say that Electronic Vehicles is not so popular in the Philippines and it has to be popular before all people will have an idea and opinion about this kind of vehicle.

Other countries have created and getting ready for the electronic vehicles. Dubai have done a parking lot with a chargers for EV. thats amazing right?

from: Google.com

I think other countries that is upgraded and advanced have already enhancing their own electric vehicle and the people living in their country has already an idea of what an electric vehicle is. In our country, most of the people doesnt have an idea of it because we are not advanced yet like other countryies but there are some people that have an idea and know about this thing.
